CAUTION: The steps in this process will leave you without antivirus protection.

Uninstall Trend Micro OfficeScan from:

• Windows 7
• Windows Vista
• Windows XP, Windows 2000, Windows Server 2003

Microsoft Windows 7

1. Close any open applications before you continue.
2. Open your Windows Control Panel
3. In the Control Panel window, click on Programs.
4. Now click on Uninstall a Program.
5. Scroll down and highlight Trend Micro OfficeScan Client.
6. In the menu bar just above the list of programs, click on Change.
7. The Trend Micro Wizard window will appear. Click Next to continue.
8. Select Remove from the list, then click Next.
9. Click Remove to start the uninstall process.
10. During the uninstall process, you may be asked to let your computer reboot in order to complete the removal of Trend Micro. Click OK.
11. You will be asked to give permission to an "unidentified program wants to access your computer." Click Yes.
12. When the program has been uninstalled, you will receive a confirmation message. Select Finish.
13. Restart your computer.

Microsoft Windows Vista

1. Close any open applications before you continue.
2. Open your Windows Control Panel.
3. In the Control Panel window, double-click on Uninstall a program (if your Control Panel is set in Classic View, click on Programs and Features).

   

4. Scroll down and highlight Trend Micro OfficeScan Client.
5. In the menu bar just above the list of programs, click on Change.
   
6. The Trend Micro Wizard window will appear. Click Next to continue.
7. Select Remove from the list, then click Next.
8. Click Remove to start the uninstall process.
9. During the uninstall process, you may be asked to let your computer reboot in order to complete the removal of Trend Micro. Click OK.
   
10. You will be asked to give permission to an "unidentified program wants to access your computer." Click Allow.
    
11. When the program has been uninstalled, you will receive a confirmation message. Select OK.
12. Restart your computer.

Windows XP, Windows 2000, Windows Server 2003

1. Close any open applications before you continue.
2. Open your Windows Control Panel.
3. In the Control Panel window, double click on the Add/Remove Programs icon.
   
4. Scroll down and highlight Trend Micro OfficeScan Client.
5. Click on Change.
   
6. The Trend Micro Wizard window will appear. Click Next to continue.
7. Select Remove from the list, then click Next.
8. Click Remove to start the uninstall process.
9. When the program has been uninstalled, you will receive a confirmation message. Select OK.
10. Restart your computer.
