To find out how to determine the release date of virus definitions for your Trend Micro or Intego product, select one of the following:

• Trend Micro OfficeScan for Microsoft Windows
• Intego VirusBarrier for Mac OS X

Trend Micro OfficeScan for Microsoft Windows

1. Double-click the blue Trend Micro OfficeScan icon, located in the right-hand portion of your system tray (at the bottom of the screen).
   
2. In the menu that appears, select Component Versions.
3. A Version Information window will appear.  Look for the entries titled "Virus Pattern" and "Spyware Pattern."
   

Intego VirusBarrier for Mac OS X

1. Open your Applications folder and double-click on the VirusBarrier X5 icon.
   
2. The VirusBarrier X5 window will appear.  Look at the top of the window, just below the title bar.  You will see a line that indicates your virus definitions date.  The line will read something like "Installed Definitions: 1/12/09  Latest Definitions: 1/12/09."
