  • Dr. Henry Schaffer's (Advanced Computing) article, "X as a Service, Cloud Computing, and the Need for Good Judgment," appears in the September/October 2009 issue of IT Professional, a bimonthly publication of the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE) Computer Society.

  • Nine OIT employees graduated May 21 from the yearlong Pathways Leadership Development Program.

Achievements

  • Ciearro Faulk of Enterprise Application Services was promoted April 25 to Command Sergeant Major, the U.S. Army's highest senior enlisted rank. Ciearro is a member of the U.S. Army Reserves and has served for more than 22 years. He will take charge of a battalion located at Fort Bragg, NC.
