Welcome!
Welcome to the OIT Cross Functional Teams Information web site. This web site is being developed to assist the OIT Staff with the process of formalizing or initiating cross functional teams.
A cross functional team (CFT) is a group within an organization made up of staff from various units who work together to deliver a service or achieve a shared objective/initiative. Most OIT staff are familiar with this approach.
For background information about formalizing CFTs within OIT, see the OIT Cross Functional Teams Announcement.
For a list of initial OIT CFTs, see the Chart of Cross Functional Teams.
To start or formalize a CFT, see the Communications Framework and Setup Steps/Guidelines.
To initiate a formal CFT, see the Strategic Direction document.
Additional documentation is listed on the navigation bar to the right. The documents found on this web site are draft versions. All approved versions to be posted before Friday, June 27, 2008.
The information found on this site is in downloadable word doc format. This will be so until the documents are fully developed. Then they will show on this site as web pages.
