Presenter responsibilities
As a presenter wishing to use ResponseWare (Turning Technologies web polling tool) you will need to visit http://www.rwpoll.com. From that site you can create your personal account (click the "Create an account now" link) that will allow connections from the classroom presentations to the TurningTechnology servers. You will then need to send an email to classtech@ncsu.edu with the email address you registered to rwpoll.com. Without this step you will not be able to use ResponseWare!!
To use ResponseWare in class with Turningpoint or TPA you would need to link your in-class activities to the online polling site. There is a pull down menu in both products to make that connection. After you login as a presenter a session ID is generated. This Id is provided to the students. Students use a browser on their smart phone or laptop to go to www.rwpoll.com. After entering the session id provided by you, the student is joined to the in-class poll. Students should be informed that if wi-fi is not available use of their data plan will be required.

Student responsibilities
Students can download applications for iPhones, Blackberry's and other smart phones for free from http://www.turningtechnologies.com/
The app is useless without paying the licensing fee.

2 year - $20.00
3 year - $28.00
To purchase a license, the online student store can be found at the following link:
http://store.turningtechnologies.com/
Once your students open this link, they will be prompted to enter a school code. NC State’s code is as follows: MR7i. (Not case sensitive) If your students do not enter the school code, they will not be offered NC State’s pricing and the website will revert to list pricing.
