Logging In

To access Webmail, go to http://webmail.ncsu.edu.

Enter your Unity ID (name) and password in the boxes provided. If you do not know your Unity ID or password, contact the NC State Help Desk at 515-HELP(4357) or e-mail them at help@ncsu.edu. To change your password, go to https://sysnews.ncsu.edu/tools-obin/password-change/.

If you log in correctly, the left-hand frame should display the percentage of your e-mail storage space that you are currently using as well as a list of your folders. Your messages should appear on the right.

Trouble logging in

• If you are getting an error message about login, even though you are already logged in, make sure that your Web browser has cookies enabled and that you are not using a proxy.
• There may be a problem with your Unity ID or password. In this case, contact the NC State Help Desk at 515-HELP(4357) or help@ncsu.edu.

Logging out

You will remain logged in until you click on Sign Out in the upper right hand corner, or until your browser remains inactive for a few minutes. If you would like to log in again, simply select the "refresh" button in your browser or select the Click here to log back in link displayed in the Sign Out window:
