Keep messages in your Inbox and in your Sent folder only temporarily. This frees up system file space and reduces clutter. To keep certain messages permanently as required by state regulations, archive them on disks or other storage media.
Create folders and use them to file messages by topic so that you can find a specific one quickly.
Conserve paper by printing a message only when you must keep it as a hard copy. Saving paper is one of the main purposes of email.
