Using Google Maps in Education (Lunch & Learn Series) on July 23

Google Maps is one of Google’s most powerful tools and offers more than just directions to your next destination.

Join Arlene Mendoza-Moran and David Shew of the Department of Plant Pathology to learn how they’ve implemented Google Maps into their curriculum. See how students can identify diseased plants on campus and use an interactive Google map to find locations, descriptions, and even multimedia for a range of plant diseases on campus.

Bring your lunch and plan to be amazed at what Maps can do for education and collaboration at NC State! Visit Classmate to reserve a spot!
