Welcome to FlySpace: study and work on the fly!

FlySpaces are OIT's general-purpose collaborative meeting spaces.  Rather than build high-end, expensive conference rooms, we believe in small, easily-accessible meeting spaces.

OIT offers several FlySpace locations on campus.  These customizable spaces have been built with students specifically in mind, with few restrictions placed on their use.  FlySpaces can be used for anything!  Some examples:

  • Collaborative group work
  • Spread out books and papers while studying
  • Small conferences or meetings
  • And more!

We encourage students to take advantage of these spaces.  They're located in several convenient locations on campus.  Stop by and check them out!

Locations

OIT provides FlySpaces in the following locations:

  • Avent Ferry Complex: Inside the Unity computer lab in the Community Center building
  • Stinson Collaborative Commons (formerly known as the Laundry Lab) in the Language and Computing Labs Building: Inside the Unity computer lab on the first floor
