Application Security

Application Security deals primarily with access to the Enterprise Applications on campus.  These include the HR and Student (SIS) applications, Financial, ADVANCE (development), and a number of smaller applications.  Access to these applications is granted or revoked through the System Access Request Application or SAR.  A link to the SAR homepage is listed below.

We are also responsible for the Certification of employees' security roles, which control the access to the applications mentioned above.  The certification process occurs annually for each of the major ERP (PeopleSoft) systems - HR, Fin, SIS.

The Information Security Acknowledgement Form (ISAF) - which is now incorporated in the the "MyPack Portal" - must be signed by all employees of the University.  If you do not have access to MyPack Portal, there is an exception process which allows the form to be downloaded, printed, and sent to OIT - Security and Compliance.  Information on how to process the form is included with the instructions.
