Identity Management Team
Every college and unit in the university has a stake in Identity Management as it cannot be developed without a collaborative effort to identify what attributes of identity are important in all business proceses used at NC State, and in ensuring that everyone is using a common definition of those identity attributes.
There are three teams associated with the Identity Management work in progress:
The Oversight Management Team
This is the senior Office of Information Technology management team overseeing the implementation of Identity Management at NC State.

The IDM Working Group
This OIT Governance working group will address procedures, processes and technologies relating to identification of university constituents and the provision of appropriate level of access to facilities, services, systems, etc. In addition, it will review recommendations regarding tools to manage all of the university identities and related identity management functions including provisioning, access management, password resets, and similar enterprise class identity topics. This working group has some overlap with the Active Directory Technical Working Group.
