Desktop Migration Progress
OIT Client Solutions is currently migrating all managed desktops in departments and other campus units from Novell to Active directory, a project whose planned completion date is December 31, 2012. Several factors (e.g., unit size) will determine migration dates.
The following table shows:
- Department name
- Department abbreviation
NOTE: This abbreviation is the share name to be used when mapping a drive to a departmental share. - Home and share migration date
- Desktop migration date
