Welcome to OIT Information for Students - Fall 2009
If you are a student at NC State, you have access to one of the most advanced technology infrastructures in higher education. OIT provides IT services for all NC State students. Check with your college for additional resources and curriculum-specific requirements. And remember to abide by the NC State regulations and rules for student IT use.
As an NC State student, you have received your own Unity ID and password which you will use to access many online and IT resources provided by NC State, beginning with
- MyPack Portal – This is your gateway to important online systems and services, including access to the self-service features of the Student Information System
For a friendly overview of student computing for 2009-10, read the online edition of Computing@NC State. The College of Engineering offers the online Guide to Eos and Unity Computing. Be sure to check with your college to find out what additional services might be offered.
For help with student technology and media services, including ResNet and Cable TV and Telephone, contact the NC State Help Desk or visit the Walk-in Center.
