Cisco Unified Communication Manager User Options

Your Cisco Unified IP Phone is a network device that can share information with other network devices in your company, including your personal computer.

You can use your computer to sign in to your Cisco Unified CM User Options web page (myphone), where you can control features, settings, and services for your Cisco Unified IP Phone. For example, you can set up speed dial buttons that allow you to use as little as one digit to dial a contact.

After you have logged in to myphone, you will be able to access the following:

  • Device Listing
  • General Settings
  • Directory
  • Line Settings
  • Phone Settings

Logging In and Out
 

Before you can access any of your user options, you must log in. 

  1. Navigate your web browser to myphone.ncsu.eduThis link will open in a new window 
    If you are prompted to accept security settings, select Yes or Install Certificate.
  2. Enter your Unity ID into the Username field.
  3. Enter your password in the Password field.
    If you need assistance with your credentials, please contact your system administrator.
  4. Select Login.
  5. When you're finished making changes, select Logout in the upper right corner of the screen.
     

Device Listing

Once logged in to myphone, a device list will appear in the left column of the screen. If you have multiple devices assigned to you, select the appropriate device (phone model), Extension Mobility Profile or Remote Destination Profile before making any changes.
 

Set Up Call Forwarding Per Line
 

  1. Sign in to myphone.
  2. On the Home page, check the box next to Forward all calls on line #####.
    If you have multiple devices assigned to you, make sure to select the correct device from the left column.
  3. Enter the number you wish to forward your phone's calls to, or select voicemail from the drop down.
    Remember to include 7 if you are dialing an outside line.
  4. Select Save.
  5. A message will appear in the lower right corner when the change has successfully been applied.
     

Set Up Speed Dialing
 

  1. Sign in to myphone.
  2. Select Phone Settings from the navigation toolbar.
    If you have multiple devices assigned to you, make sure to select the correct device from the left column.
  3. In the Speed Dials for This Phone area, enter a number and label for a speed dial code. 
    Remember to include 7 if you are dialing an outside line.
  4. Select Save.
  5. A message will appear in the lower right corner when the change has successfully been applied.
     

Changing Your Phone PIN
 

Your PIN allows you to access certain phone services such as your voicemail.

If you would like to change your PIN:

  1. Sign in to myphone.
  2. Hover over your Unity ID in the upper right corner.
  3. Select Change Phone Pin.
  4. Enter your New PIN in the New Phone PIN field.
  5. Re-enter your new PIN in the Confirm Phone PIN field.
  6. Select OK.
  7. A message will appear in the lower right corner when the change has successfully been applied.
