Current Applications
Applications in the Images
OIT has two different types of images for the Active Directory Unity Lab Environment available. The first is the base image which includes the operating system and Office 2007. The second includes everything in the base image, plus Adobe Web Premium CS4, Adobe InDesign CS4, Sassafras K2 client (keyserver client), and SAS 9.2. More information can be found on the WDS Imaging page. However, with apps being available through SCCM now that were previously difficult to package and unavailable as a GPO install, the base Windows 7 images, which are provided by the WDS service team and not OIT, may be the best options.
Current List of Applications (Spring 2012 with SCCM based installs: DRAFT)
Below is a list of Applications that will be part of the SCCM based Unity Apps groups. This list is still a draft. Some apps are not available yet in SCCM and will be listed without a version until they are added to the appropriate group. Some apps are still using GPO based installs and are marked in this list with an asterisk.
NOTE: Unity Apps-full will not fit on a machine with an 80GB hard drive.

1 Adobe Acrobat Reader will not install on machines using the site licensed version of Adobe Acrobat Pro. Use of this Adobe Acrobat Pro license is only for departments participating in the site license through OIT Software Licensing. 3 JAWS and MAGic are not deployed in the application sets because they need to be tested on the each target video card hardware before being deployed. It is up to the department to test against their computers before deploying. 4 Trend Micro Office Scan will get version updates installed through the parent server after the Group Policy based install is finished. * Application is still deployed via Group Policy. |
