3)Service Updates- 15 min

Casper – JSS 9.82 update completed Wednesday Jan 13, 2016 between 1800 and 2345.
See sysnews.ncsu.edu/news/568aa3a8  Issue found with ciphers post update fixed 02082016 that blocked iOS Self Service.

CrashPlan – Client 4.4.3 and  server 5.0.3 update completed Jan 27, 2016.  Client 5.x updates on hold until server 5.1.0 update due to known issues.  Expecting to update to server 5.1.0 on Feb 24, 2016.

NetBoot – 10.11.3 (nuke.nbi & sh) has been updated on the netboot server, will be to adding makekiosk.nbi/sh and makesign.nbi/sh before Mar MacTech for use with new/clean OS X machines.

AutoPKGR – no new packages, however clean up requests will be coming out

4) Kaspersky Issues- 30 min

Several folks are seeing issues with Kaspersky after OS X 10.11.3 update or after Kaspersky 10.x update.  These include hanging on boot, run away processes, failure of web page loading and failure of Kaspersky to update.  One machine had been found to have 907 Gig of files in /cores (on 1T disk) after Kaspersky 10.x update.  Real time scanning can be disabled and web security can be disabled to fix issues.
