Starting at 2 p.m. on Thursday, Feb. 20, OIT will require NC State students to authenticate with Duo Security when logging in to the NC State Virtual Private Networking (VPN) Service. A two-step login process, Duo will further protect Unity credentials and campus resources against cyber threats. 

On Thursday, Jan. 30, OIT will send an email notification about the requirement to all current student VPN users who are not already enrolled in Duo. This information is also posted on the VPN website and SysNews.
