Are you still running Windows 7? 

OIT will deploy a “toast” pop-up notification to remind you that Microsoft discontinued support for Windows 7, Server 2008 and Server 2008R2 on Jan. 14. This means Windows 7 will no longer be updated or patched and can be a security risk to you, your data and others at NC State. 

Windows 7 machines within the NC State WolfTech Active Directory domain will display these pop-up reminders beginning Wednesday, Jan. 22. 

Please contact your local IT support or the NC State Help Desk if you have any questions or need assistance to upgrade your computer to Windows 10.
