OIT Communication Technologies (ComTech) will end support for the Cisco IP Communicator (CIPC) softphone on Wednesday, April 1. Cisco has already announced the end of life for the CIPC software.
CIPC is a Windows-based software application that allows university faculty and staff to make voice calls from their PCs. Currently, several hundred employees use the CIPC software.
ComTech will provide more details about CIPC’s replacement solution in the March edition of OIT News and in the coming weeks via SysNews.
