OIT Communication Technologies has delayed its plan to end support for the Cisco IP Communicator (CIPC) softphone from April 1 to Friday, May 1. Cisco has already announced the end of life for the CIPC software.
CIPC is a Windows-based software application that allows university faculty and staff to make voice calls from their PCs. Currently, several hundred employees use the CIPC software.
