In response to the threat of Coronavirus impacting normal business procedures, Google has enabled advanced Hangouts Meet functionalities to accommodate the increasing need to work remotely.

These functionalities are in the NC State domain and will be available through July 1. However, the Google Service Team expects to make these changes permanent with the provisioning of G Suite Enterprise for Education licenses.

NC State G Suite accounts using Hangouts Meet now have the ability to: 

• Host a meeting with up to 250 participants.
• Live stream for up to 100K viewers within the NC State domain.
• Record meetings to Google Drive.
