Google makes changes to multiple inboxes in Gmail

If you use “multiple inboxes” in Gmail, you will notice some new upgrades within the next few days. Multiple inboxes bundle emails of the same topic, such as key emails or important tasks, and make them visible alongside your main inbox.

The new upgrades will allow:

  • independent scrolling
  • a unified toolbar
  • adjustable width in right-side configurations when using multiple inboxes

Note: Multiple inboxes with preview pane configurations will no longer be supported. You will receive a notification in Gmail informing you of this change.
