With the increased use of video communications, the NC State IT Accessibility Office reminds the campus community to caption all public NC State videos and, when possible, provide transcripts. This includes, but is not limited to: 

• videos on the NC State website
• live-streamed university-wide events
• university content hosted by third-party platforms such as YouTube or Vimeo  

NC State has a captioning convenience contract with multiple captioning vendors that allows campus users to receive the lower negotiated rates for captioning and transcription of university-related materials.  

Alternatively, OIT WolfBytes Video Services offers captioning services for pre-recorded content.
