On Jan. 11, 2021, the Office of Information Technology Central Services Integration (OIT CSI) team will replace the current SysNews Nagios monitoring tool and the Online Paging System with a new monitoring and notification environment that is easier to support and more user friendly.

The tentative plan is to permanently shut down SysNews Nagios and the Online Paging System on March 1, 2021.

OIT CSI is providing onboarding resources to help service users with the transition. To begin the onboarding process:

• Submit a ServiceNow ticket to the OIT_UNIX queue.
• Include the name of your current SysNews Nagios or Online Paging System group and your contact information. 

OIT CSI will provide you with documentation and assistance on how to use the new environment.
