Google Meet remembers host settings

Responding to user feedback, Google recently changed its Meet sessions to remember certain host settings.

This change applies only to host controls that allow participants to: 

  • Quickly access the session
  • Share their screen
  • Send chat messages

These settings will be saved only for meetings that use the same meeting code. One-time meeting settings will not be saved.
