Inside Gmail, you typically access your Google Calendar app by clicking the Google Apps menu icon in the top right corner. But there’s an easier way. 

Did you know that you can simply click the Google Calendar icon in the right-hand column, just below your account badge? 

When you click on the icon, your Google Calendar with today’s appointments will appear as a new column on the right side of your Gmail interface.

Simply check your availability for the day or use the directional arrows (< >) to locate past or future dates.

You can also click on the More icon (three vertical dots) to review:

•  Today’s schedule.
• Other dates.
• Different Google Calendar. 

When you are done, close the Calendar option by clicking the X. Simple, easy and efficient!
