Take notes with Google Keep

Did you know that Google Keep provides a seamless, note-taking resource across multiple Workspace apps? 

If you’re working in Google Calendar, Docs, Slides, Drive or Gmail, simply:

  • Select the Google Keep icon — a yellow square with a white light bulb — in the right-hand column of your app’s window.

  • Select Take a note
    • Create a note that is directly attached to the document you are working on. 
    • Pin a note so your most important note remains at the top.
