As purchases of smart devices increase, consumers are becoming more concerned about the level of privacy and security these devices offer.

To learn how to better protect yourself at the time of purchase, join this year’s Data Privacy Week keynote, Pardis Emami-Naeini, an assistant professor of computer science at Duke University, on Friday, Jan. 27 from 10-11 a.m.

She will discuss her research work in designing a privacy label for smart devices.
