Digital Enablement: Powering the NC State Mission

NC State IT leadership recently released “Digital Enablement: Powering the NC State Mission,” a strategic blueprint to lead IT innovation on campus.

A review and refresh of the IT Strategic Plan was launched in the fall of 2022 to align with the university’s new strategic plan, Wolfpack 2030: Powering the Extraordinary. This three-phase process included a survey, an ideation session to gather input, and additional input and discussion to finalize the new strategic plan.

The plan includes these five IT strategic goals to support the university’s mission:

• Deliver world-class services and capabilities to NC State faculty, staff and students.
• Foster an environment of belonging, collaboration and connectedness for IT-focused staff to strengthen culture and innovation.
• Ensure the security of digital assets through strong cybersecurity for all.
• Leverage data across the university.
• Grow IT resources appropriately to support digital transformation.
