Mark your calendar for the next IT Quick Hall on Tuesday, Nov. 14 from 11:30 a.m. to noon.
Marc Hoit, NC State’s chief information officer, will provide the university’s IT community with a brief update on campus news. He will be joined by Dr. James Lester, Goodnight Distinguished University Professor in Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning and director of the Center for Educational Informatics. Lester will discuss the work of the EngageAI Institute, headquartered at NC State. Learn about the institute’s AI-driven research exploring how students learn and collaborate in rich, story-based problem scenarios and their efforts to create scalable infrastructure to support these findings.
