OIT to remove inactive NC State VCL Azure Virtual Desktop profiles

On Friday, March 22, the Office of Information Technology will remove inactive NC State Virtual Computing Lab (VCL) Azure Virtual Desktop (AVD) profiles to optimize and reduce the university’s storage footprint.

The profiles belong to individuals who have not accessed the VCL AVD environment for more than one year; the VCL AVD storage environment provides only short-term use of the resources required to access course instruction and classwork.

Action Required: If you want to keep your course instruction and classwork, transfer your data to a new location before March 22. See these helpful resources:

If you have any questions, contact the NC State Help Desk via the NC State IT Service Portal or call 919.515.4357 (HELP).
