NC State, in partnership with Google, will host two Gemini for Education events in Talley Student Union on Oct. 6.

Students, faculty and staff are invited to a Pop-up Event to explore demos of Gemini and NotebookLM. 

Faculty and instructional staff are invited to a Lunch and Learn for a hands-on Gemini workshop led by Google product experts. Attendees will learn how tools in Gemini and NotebookLM can be effectively and responsibly utilized to enhance and support teaching.

As a Google school, adopting Gemini and NotebookLM was a logical choice. The integration within the same ecosystem provides a seamless experience for our students, faculty and staff. By having data protections included, Gemini ensures our user data is not used or reviewed to train its AI models.

We’re excited about how Gemini and NotebookLM can help students with on-demand support for challenging concepts, personalized practice quizzes, and powerful tools for brainstorming and research while empowering educators and staff with streamlined lesson planning, creation of differentiated content, generation of assessments and rubrics, and support for administrative tasks like drafting communications and summarizing documents.
