New Features Available for Go Links
Effective Jan. 7, users will notice changes and new features available in the Go Links interface, including bulk management, link health and dark mode.
Authentication
There is a new log-in experience for the Go Links service using Entra ID instead of Shibboleth. This new experience also uses Duo for multifactor authentication.
Bulk Management
You can now more easily bulk manage links, allowing you to bulk tag, share or transfer links. You can also permanently delete links that are no longer needed. Use the quick filters to help identify unused links on the link directory page.
Link Health
Select Health on the top navigation menu to request a health check of your links. Problematic links, such as those that link to a 404 (not found), will be marked as a “Bad Link.” Opening a specific link’s settings will automatically trigger a new check and the bad link flag will update if the status changes.
Hit Count View
To ensure accurate data, hit count is now the primary analytic available for links. New hits may take up to an hour to reflect in the count. Links created prior to Jan. 7 will only show hit count data that dates back to Jan. 7. To see historical activity for links created before Jan. 7, review the Link Usage report. No further analytics will be sent to this report.
Dark Mode
The interface now includes a dark mode option. Switch to dark mode by clicking your name and selecting Dark Mode.
General Performance Improvements
Many performance improvements have been made to make redirects and general link management faster, more responsive and more capable of gracefully handling large amounts of traffic and getting users where they need to go.
