Google’s Gemini Campus Tour to Visit NC State

A Google staff member talks to a student at a previous Google event

As part of Google’s nationwide college tour to kick off the school year, Google will visit NC State Oct. 13-14.

During their visit, Google will host Google AI Educator workshops and a Gemini Lounge Pop-Up event on Stafford Commons.

Oct. 13-14: Gemini Lounge Pop-Up

Geared toward students but open to all, stop by the Gemini Lounge for:

  • Product demos: Learn how Gemini features can help deepen your learning.
  • Free merch: Score exclusive, limited-edition swag.
  • Googler meet and greets: Network with Googlers.

Oct. 14: Google AI Educator Workshops

Faculty and staff are invited to attend the Google AI Educator Series, hands-on workshop sessions hosted by Google product experts. There will be two sessions for each topic.

Teaching and Learning: Create Process-based Assessments

These sessions will demonstrate how to use Gemini as a creative partner to generate frameworks and then create rubrics that can be used for evaluation.

Productivity and Efficiency: Write Better Grants

These sessions will demonstrate Gemini Notebook as a “Grant-Alignment Engine.” Learn how to securely upload dense Requests for Proposals alongside draft abstracts to identify structural gaps and generate targeted adjustments before submission.
