Join NC State Chief Information Officer Marc Hoit for the next IT Quick Hall on March 10 from 11:30 a.m. to noon.
Hoit will provide a brief update on campus IT news and introduce guest speaker Bryan Seely, a cybersecurity expert and former U.S. Marine. Seely will discuss current hacking trends, deepfakes and AI.
Seely is a self-described “ethical hacker” and is the only person to ever wiretap the U.S. Secret Service and FBI. He is passionate about consumer rights, privacy and educating the public about how to stay safe in an ever-changing technological landscape. He is also the author of “Cyber Fraud: The Web of Lies.”
