New Look and Feel for the IT Service Portal

If you have visited the NC State IT Service Portal lately, you may have noticed some changes. While the core functionalities that users rely on remain consistent, the portal unveiled its new look in early June. This redesign was spearheaded by the Office of Information Technology (OIT) ServiceNow team, which worked diligently to ensure a seamless transition for the campus community.
A key aspect of this initiative was a collaborative testing and implementation phase with the Poole College of Management to refine the new design before its broader release.
“We redesigned the IT Service Portal to improve the experience for the campus community and align with NC State’s branding and accessibility standards,” said Jennifer Domnick, the ServiceNow platform and services manager. “The new portal is easier to navigate, easier to maintain and built to scale with the university’s evolving needs.”
This commitment to enhanced user experience and future scalability underscores OIT’s goal to meet the university’s growing technological demands.
