The power lies within you to become a cyber hero.
You might not fly or possess supernatural abilities, but you can impact lives, fight cybercrimes and make the environment around you — including NC State — a safer place.
Your journey starts with the appropriate training and tools. During National Cybersecurity Awareness Month (NCSAM) in October, the Office of Information Technology (OIT) will co-sponsor “Protect the Pack: Be a Cyber Hero.” This event will provide you with the necessary skills to protect yourself and the university against dark cyber forces that try to trick you into providing sensitive data that can be used to cause immeasurable harm to you and others.
Join us for the following cybersecurity activities to learn how to don a strong armour of defense and become the cyber hero you were meant to be! Light refreshments will be served, and you will have the opportunity to win great prizes.
