OIT Communication Technologies recommends that you use Cisco Jabber to receive and make campus phone calls while working remotely.
With both a client and softphone feature, Cisco Jabber offers an array of collaboration and productivity tools, including but not limited to:
- voice messaging
- instant messaging
- video calling
- persistent chat rooms
- screen sharing and control
Cisco Jabber is supported on Windows, Mac, Android, iPhone, iPad, and wearables. It is available at no additional charge to employees who have a campus telephone number. If your campus department would like to have its departmental contact lists auto populated in the Jabber contact list, send an email request to email@example.com.
