As part of NC State’s ongoing effort to meet Google’s data storage requirements, the Google Service Team (GST) plans to remove temporary storage exceptions that were previously granted to employees.

At the end of August, the GST will email all employees who were granted 1 terabyte and 500 gigabyte exceptions for their personal and generic accounts. This notification will include:

• A timeline to remove exceptions.
• Steps and resources to manage and remove data.
• Contact information to answer questions.

Please be aware that while the exceptions will be removed, no data will be deleted.
