For May’s IT Quick Hall, Vice Chancellor for Information Technology and Chief Information Officer Marc Hoit will provide IT updates around campus then introduce NC State’s Quality Enhancement Plan Director Rebecca Sanchez.

Dr. Rebecca Sanchez’s presentation is “Packways: Learning by Doing — A QEP Overview for IT.”

NC State’s Quality Enhancement Plan, Packways, is a five-year initiative to expand student access to and outcomes from High-Impact Experiences (HIEs) across five categories: early cohort, professional, scholarly, community and global engagement. Now in its launch phase, Packways has engaged all colleges, formally recognized more than 100 HIEs, and awarded $122K in student enrichment funding. This session will cover how Packways works, what’s in it for faculty, staff and students, and how the IT community can support and participate.
