FlySpace: Frequently Asked Questions
Who can use the OIT FlySpaces?
FlySpaces can be used by any student, faculty or staff associated with North Carolina State University. A Unity user ID and password are required to log in to use the PC workstations in each room.
How do I schedule a FlySpace?
OIT no longer records reservations for FlySpaces. They may be used on a first come, first served basis. Please be sure you read and accept the FlySpace Guidelines prior to using a room.
What is in a FlySpace?
Flyspace has the following equipment available:
- Two or more Unity Windows PCs
- Large Flat Panel Screen (LCD)
- Whiteboard (in some locations)
- Phone (in some locations)
- Wired and Wireless connections for personal laptops
How do I learn how to use the equipment available in the FlySpaces?
A FlySpace Usage Manual is available with information on all equipment in the room. Additionally, our Guide to Windows XP Workstations in Unity Computer Labs is available.
How do I report problems with a FlySpace?
