Entra ID Migration

NC State is transitioning to Microsoft Entra ID as its new single sign-on (SSO) solution. The university has used Shibboleth as its primary SSO solution for 18 years, giving campus a streamlined way to sign in to multiple university resources. Switching to Entra ID helps the university consolidate SSO to one industry-standard platform that streamlines identity management with modern security standards and robust integration possibilities.

  • Starting Sept. 14: Google Workspace
  • Later during fall 2026 semester: Major systems including MyPack Portal, Zoom, Moodle
