Beginning in early January of 2009, the Office of Information Technology (OIT) will begin providing free access to new antivirus software for campus.

As part of efforts to continually improve antivirus and malware protection for the campus, OIT recently selected Trend Micro’s OfficeScan as the new university-wide antivirus product. Trend Micro OfficeScan provides improved protection and faster updates when new viruses are identified.

 

Antivirus protection is required of all faculty, staff and students connecting to the campus network.
