OIT systems and database maintenance to impact IT services on Dec. 7

OIT will be conducting fourth quarter security patches on ERP Solaris systems and the central Oracle database environment on Sunday, Dec. 7. Maintenance will begin at 7 a.m. with expected full restoration of services at 11 a.m.

The following services will be affected:

  • Admin Portal System
  • ERP Finance System 
  • ERP HR System 
  • ERP Student System 
  • Remedy ticketing system 
  • RHN Satellite 
  • OIM production database

System outages will be intermittent throughout the maintenance period as staff complete the patching and systems are brought online. Full access to affected systems should not be expected until there is a follow-up Sysnews post announcing completion of the maintenance.
