Submit your nomination for the Gertrude Cox Award

Nominations are now being accepted for the Gertrude Cox Award for Innovative Excellence in Teaching and Learning with Technology.

Named in honor of Cox, who established the university’s distinguished Department of Statistics, the award recognizes the creative pedagogy of NC State’s faculty and their work in integrating new technologies into effective teaching strategies. Projects must have been completed during the 2018-2019 academic year or earlier.

See award description and criteria on the Gertrude Cox Award web page and submit your nomination by Tuesday, Jan. 7.

The award recipient will be recognized in the spring at the Teaching Awards Luncheon and will be asked to present at the Teaching and Learning Symposium. Both are hosted by the Office of the Executive Vice Chancellor and Provost and the Office of Faculty Development.
