April is Earth Month and the Office of Information Technology (OIT) encourages you to think Green IT — to consciously consider how to conserve energy and properly use or discard IT-related technologies. 

Here are a few tips to help you reduce your carbon pawprint: 

• Buy Energy Star certified electronics.
• Manage your power settings and turn off unused devices.
• E-cycle your devices.
• Reduce your paper usage.
• Make contributions to reduce the university’s and the world’s carbon footprint.
