Upgrade to Windows 10 21H2

To keep managed computer systems updated and compliant with the university’s Endpoint Protection Standard, OIT will enforce the update of all WolfTech AD-joined Windows 10 systems to version 21H2 effective Wednesday, Aug. 10. The updates are available now for campus IT support staff.

All campus colleges and departments are encouraged to update to this version prior to Aug. 10 to avoid productivity and service disruptions. The software installation could take several hours, especially on older hardware and systems with limited memory and non-solid-state disk drives.

Self-service Installation
If your local support has made the update available for self-service installation, you can install the Windows 10 21H2 update from the Software Center in the Operating System section. For self-service instructions, see Install Windows Software Using Software Center.
