NC State’s Virtual Computer Lab will be unavailable during a scheduled maintenance Wednesday, January 6, 2010 from 6:00 a.m. until 8:00 a.m. This maintenance consists of migrating from a shared MySQL server to one dedicated to VCL.

The outage effects everyone who accesses NC State’s installation of the VCL; that is, everyone who logs in via vcl.ncsu.edu. VCL users at other universities or in other organizations that have their own installations of VCL will not be affected by this outage.
