OIT alerts the campus community that between 4 a.m. and 4 p.m. on Sunday, May 16, 2010, some IT systems and services may be affected by the emergency campus-wide power outage scheduled  by NC State’s Facilities and Operations.  The operation of  some OIT-provided services may be slow and others may have to be shut down. OIT technical staff are working to minimize the inconvenience to campus. They expect critical services such as grade processing, Web services, and e-mail to remain available.
