OIT Lunch and Learn series will present “Jing and Dropbox” from noon to 1 p.m. on Wednesday, March 30 in 216 Scott Hall. Twanda Baker of OIT Design, Education and Outreach will highlight the most useful and popular features of these two free Web utilities in one workshop session.
If you find that it’s sometimes better to show than tell, then Jing may be the solution for you. With Jing, you can capture an image or a video of anything you see on your computer screen and then store and share it online.
And wouldn’t it be nice to save your documents and pictures in a folder on your home computer and then have access to that same folder on your work computer? Perhaps you would also appreciate having this folder and its contents accessible via your smartphone or tablet. Dropbox provides you with an easy way to store, sync and share files online.
