OIT discontinues support for Internet Explorer

OIT has discontinued its support of Microsoft Internet Explorer with the MyPack Portal and the Financial, Human Resources and Student systems and recommends campus customers use either Google Chrome or Mozilla Firefox.

Campus customers who used Internet Explorer have often encountered more problems with these systems than those who use Google Chrome or Mozilla Firefox. University Central Offices and support staff also spent a significant amount of time testing and troubleshooting problems unique to Internet Explorer. As a result, OIT will no longer conduct testing of Internet Explorer patches, fixes and enhancement with these systems.
